This model gun reproduces the 50AE ammunition version of the Desert Eagle, a gas-operated large-caliber handgun developed by the (then) Israeli company IMI on order from Magnum Research, Inc. in the United States.
The popular IMI engraving and logo are reproduced, and while heavyweight materials are used to give the gun a moderate weight feel, a newly designed lightweight aluminum cartridge provides a nimble firing blowback action.
The barrel is made of impact-resistant reinforced resin.
The [Warm Silver Coating] model is finished with a subdued silver coating.
