Martin Scorsese's legendary film ``Taxi Driver'', released in 1976, influenced not only movie fans but also many gun fans.
Among them, the firearms used by the main character, Travis, played by Robert De Niro, have become folklore for generations to come.
Four guns were purchased from gun dealers. The S&W M29 8-3/8 inch .44 magnum, which was said to be the strongest at the time, the S&W M61 Escort, which he made himself and had in his arm, and the Astra Constable, which he used to kill a black robber. โ and the nickel-plated โS&W M36 Chief Special Square Butt 2-inchโ used for raiding brothels.
