The resin stock is realistic in shape and texture, based on measurements taken from the real thing. The cheek piece at the rear of the stock can be adjusted vertically and the screw can be swapped left and right, just like the real thing.
Four spacers are also included to change the thickness of the buttplate, allowing the shooter to adjust the settings to suit his or her physique.
The outer barrel, muzzle brake, receiver, mount base, and other major parts other than the stock are made of metal for a genuine quality feel and rigidity that is safe for game use.
An indicator that shows at a glance whether the bolt is operated or not and a bolt handle lock mechanism that prevents accidental operation of the handle during cocking are included.
The bolt stroke has been shortened to 68mm for accurate and quick bolt operation.
Incorporates a BB loading system to reproduce a realistic magazine position.
A safety mechanism prevents the magazine from being fed into the chamber when it is not loaded or when an empty magazine is installed.
An actuator has been added to make it easier to determine the sear release position (the position where the BB round is fired) while the trigger is being pulled.
The trigger weight and stroke distance can be adjusted according to preference.
In addition to a mounting base for an optical sight, the M40A5 features an accessory mount as standard equipment. Various optional parts compatible with a width of 20mm (Picatinny standard) can be mounted.
Includes a magazine with a 35-round capacity and a steel-pressed outer case just like the real thing.
