[Beretta M92FS inspired by the movie "Die Hard."]

Die Hard (1988), a milestone Hollywood action movie, was semi-permanently preserved in the National Film Registry operated by the Library of Congress (de facto U.S. National Library) in 2017 as a work of extremely high cultural, historical and artistic value.

This film is one of the greatest action movies of all time, and even now, more than a quarter of a century after its production, it is still one of the greatest action movies of all time.

The Beretta M92FS, a new type of pistol that had just been officially adopted by the U.S. military at the time, was used as the sidekick of Detective John McClane, played by Bruce Willis, and left a strong presence on the silver screen.

The Beretta M92FS, a large military pistol with a sleek European auto form that looks great on the screen, later swept the world as the iconic hero gun in gun actions from the 1990s onward.

WA used carbon black heavyweight (HW) material, which has an established reputation for both weight and texture, as the main material for the exterior parts, and introduced a bluing (black dyeing) finish that takes advantage of the material's characteristics to reproduce the model with a sense of weight that overturns the common wisdom of resin models.
The "Beretta M92FS Diehard" is a model of the partner of the "man who will not go down so easily" who struggles to fight alone, full of realism as if it came out of the world of movies.

[Die-Hard model with upgraded bluing finish]

WA's M92FS uses HW material not only for the slide and frame, but also for the outer barrel, right and left grip panels, and other major parts, and its weight of over 1kg, which surpasses the actual gun (unloaded: approx. 950g), is a major attraction.

HW material has the characteristic of exposing a layer of metal powder mixed within the material when the surface is polished.
If a metal bluing solution is used in this state, a chemical reaction will produce an oxide film called black rust.

Originally, bluing is used as an anti-corrosion treatment for metals, but it has been widely used for surface finishing of real guns since long ago because the treated film is so thin that it has almost no effect on the dimensions of the parts and does not peel off like paint or plating.

When applied to HW material, it is possible to achieve a moist black finish with a glossy sheen without sacrificing the unique texture of HW material, and the deep texture, which cannot be experienced with ordinary ABS resin model painting, combined with the solid hardness of the material, will make anyone who holds it in their hands doubt their own eyes. We are sure that you will enjoy the solid response of this product.
