［The WA M8045 Cougar was designed by Pietro Beretta, who provided the original drawings of the real gun, and the model is the result of their pursuit of the utmost realism. As with the WA Government line, the Cougar has been upgraded as a high-spec custom, and the built-in transfer hammer mechanism is a major attraction. This allows the profile when the hammer is down and the feeling when the cocked hammer is returned (decocking) to be reproduced with the realism of a model gun, making this a highly complete package that is sure to please even the most hard-core fan. ［The 45-caliber double-column magazine contains the second-highest capacity gas tank after the high-capacity system represented by the SV series. The magazine is equipped with the N.L.S. (Non-Liquid System), which prevents the leakage of liquefied gas when shooting, and allows stress-free shooting without any raw gas blowing even during quick draws or when the gun is tilted. The glamorous slide with increased volume is equipped with a long-stroke large-caliber piston, which drives the high-specific-gravity, heavy-weight slide at high speed to deliver a heavy recoil shock with a sense of solidity to the hand that is felt when gripping the slide.
